But what the heck (since I have no worries about winning and therefore being judged by old HH there)-
Pro-bikelane - We support bicycling for the masses
Anti-bike lane - We do not support bicycling for the masses

Advocating for bike lanes does not mean advocating that you MUST ride in the bike lane.

alpha dog of internet bicycling, perhaps.
he's no transportationalist nor an everyday rider. i think he doesn't DESERVE any prize.
besides, for expediency he rides in bike lanes that are appropriate when there's fast&steady traffic, just like any other vehicular bicyclist will.

I should have said 'fast&steady, or slow and congested', my bad.
I'd bet head passes slow traffic in bike lanes- WHEN he rides, that is- when his expediency and 'experience' riding allows him to do so. if head gets stuck in traffic with the rest of the drivers when he's on his bike, versus using a bike lane for expediency, exercising due care to pass cars on the right, I have pity for his lack of cycling skills.

I DO have pity for the rest of this forum to have to listen to 'gap hunter' prattle on like he does.
weekend rider, pretending to be a transportationalist. pretty pathetic, in my opinion.
