Gusts to 90k on the Left Coast
We had gusts to 90k yesterday, some boats on English Bay were blown onto shore, tree debris all over the roads. But the sun was out and I hate to pass up a ride for a little wind. I started out at 11:am and headed out to Ft.Langley from home (Guildford area), the wind at my back all the way, I knew I was going to have quite a time on the way back. At times I could be cruising on the flats at 25k, then get hit with a gust and slow down to 3k instantly. The Windwrap fairing is amazing, not only does it work to cut through those heavy headwinds but also works like a sail going with the wind.

Hi Katcorot...........If you've ever sailed, you'd know that I would need to tack into the wind. I can just see it...trying to explain to a NewWestminster police officer why I was tacking down Columbia St, stopping all the traffic. Hey....I live in N.Surrey, lets arrange a ride (Central Valley, Sky Train path) or where ever suits you.
