Edmonton Frame Builders??

I'm looking to having a Mixte frame made for me next Spring but I'm hoping to find a local frame builder here before I commission someone elsewhere.

Experience is a must as I need a good guide in helping me decide what features I want...Also experience building a Mixte frame too please

Two days later, I'm surprised that Sixty Fiver hasn't been by to mention Arvon Cycles. I'm pretty much only familiar with Arvon's work through Sixty Fiver, who's been doing some work with him lately. So I don't know much about his experience with mixte frames, but he's been at it a long time, I'd be shocked if there's a style that he hasn't built.

If Sixty Fiver doesn't pop in soon to comment, maybe drop him a PM.

I was thinking the exact same thing reading this. I had a chance to look at a couple of SixtyFiver's Arvon frames and they're a thing of beauty, I especially like one that had spacing to accomodate a non-dished, symmetrical rear wheel. Arvon's hubs are a thing of beauty as well.

Is Proctor still in business? I remember my first Golden Triangle, back in the 80s, a big group of Edmonton people came down with their custom Proctor bikes.

No, don't bother with Proctor frames. I still harbor a vendetta against him dating from 1983. I never forget! Brad Proctor is my mortal enemy!
