Enter the Gauntlet?

Has anyone tried these out for the winter:

A friend suggested them, and they're quite a bit cheaper than Bar Mitts.

I was just reading some user review over at the mtbr forum, general consensus favorable and they were the least expensive

https://forums.mtbr.com/fat-bikes/nic...on-739410.html

also Cabelas has them, a little more expensive

https://www.cabelas.com/rider-accesso...-mitts-1.shtml

also if you happen to have a walmart near you, try checking out the ATV section, last year they had the same ones as the Cabelas for around $14.00 but this year I haven't seen them

Depends on what your "winter" consists of. I tried them (not the exact ones, but the Cabelas ones), but ended up with these after one winter:

I can wear thin merino wool gloves under them and be fine down to 20-30 below zero here in Minnesota. The ATV style are good for wind protection, but lack insulation, so you need heavier gloves/mittens under them if you are riding really cold temps.

Bikes: A few ;)

I bought the Fleet Farm ones you posted last winter, and they are huge. I returned them before ever wearing them. I bought Moose Mitts for this year and I'm really impressed so far.
