Hit and run on one of our local training rides. One of the victims was a junior who had to be life-flighted. Just a few days ago I was thinking about when I would be ready to take Lucas on the B ride. Now the thought just makes me sick to my stomach.

Still record videos but yeah I don't publish them as much anymore. It used to take me about 6 hours or so. I did it mostly for entertainment but everyone would just remind me of the 2-3 dumb things I already knew about.

To do that, the DA would need legal probable cause to believe the driver intended to kill those cyclists. If convicted, I think that hanging, followed by drawing and quartering, would be appropriate.

Start by lining up in the front row.

Indeed. What's funny is how I (partially) lost the race by not sprinting to the line. Those guys were serious!!!

Then there were callups for the top 20 by USAC ranking, which also didn't help my cause.

You know, I was tempted to comment on this before you raced but I thought it would have been taken the wrong way. It made a huge difference when I raced Masters Nats crit.

We get 7/1 (Canada Day) off work because the CEO is Canadian, so I went on a 4hr/70mi z2 ride, got a haircut, and went shopping for some new jeans and polos. It's been a pretty productive day.

God bless Canada!

We drove to Michigan and back this weekend and cut through Ontario. Saw a longtime friend who went to both high school and college with me and now lives in Toronto. Good times, would definitely go back to visit Toronto, nice town. We also caught up with one of my wife's longtime friends who also happened to be in the middle of NY state

On the downside, I haven't been on my bike in a week, couldn't bring myself to get on the trainer, tomorrow will be good for the outdoors. This may be the longest I've been off the bike in a while, we'll see how the rest week affects me (doubt I was really in need of a rest week, not exactly busting my hump like many of you!)

From you, I'd take some advice. =]

Actually I knew lining up was a big part of the race, given the technical course, field size, and the magnitude of the race, but just didn't execute it well.

Uploading the video to youtube in a sec.

Hey guys. Was catching up on this year's Giro before the Tour starts and was thinking about you guys. Hope all is well.

Just an update on me ... if'n yuns wanted to know.
Still with the same girl - which is unusual for me. But I do believe she's the one.
Sharks attacks everywhere here in NC. One shark came to my door pretending to be a candygram. Can't fool me.

My 15 year old daughter had a seizure. First one ever. Not had one since. It was three weeks ago. Got her to a neurologist to do a sleep deprivation EEG. They found misfirings on one side of her brain. So we have to go back next week for more tests and consultation. She was planning a trip to Peru in a couple of weeks but that's been cancelled. Her drivers license has been shelved as well until we get it all figured out. Right now she is at the beach and in good spirits. I don't know if I'm more worried about another seizure or those dang sharks.

Could anyone with experiences dealing or racing with Lyme reach out to me via PM? I'm afraid i got bitten recently and didn't even notice it. Been experiencing body chills and muscle aches the past few days. May be another season (or more) i need to throw away due to illness...
