Peugeot "Racing" Bike -- what model is this? Is it worth $200?
https://rochester.craigslist.org/bik/3233838681.html
I'm looking to negotiate with the buyer -- it's braze butted which is something between hi-tensile and chromoly. Anyone know an estimate weight of this bike? I'm hoping it'll be anything less than 25 pounds. What model is this?
Thanks.

I'm guessing a PH12 from early 1980s.
Look here https://cyclespeugeot.com/Catalogs.html for a match. Should also list weights.
Worth, in Portland OR (an expensive market), around $100-140 if in very nice condition. I'd think less in Rochester.

I agree with jyl on the price range, would go for the same in our area. On the weight....probably weighs 25lbs as it sits with the removal of the lock.

It would be worth it if it were ready to ride: fresh tires, cables, etc. Realize in many markets, a UO8 will bring $150 plus, with steel wheels, plastic simplex derailleurs, etc.

I would have to agree on the $150-ish range.
The cache of the Peugeot brand seems to outpace their glory days.

Thanks for the guide. You guys are right -- it's a PH12. I didn't think of checking the gearing. I checked the catalogs out. It's also about 25 pounds which isn't too bad. I may have to pass on this bike -- it's bigger than my size.

Looks a lot like my PH11. I don't think the PH12 has internal cable routing like this bike does.
