I wouldn't call this a huge deal, but it wouldn't take more than an hour to straighten the bike around.

Please notice, it says Ritchey on the frameset.
Big time plus one - if it were local I'd be over there with $450 and $50 in my sock just to make sure.

It looks kind of mundanem not what you would expect of a D.B. from that era. I wonder what the running gear is...I think these were Exage something but it is impossible to tell from the pics.

The bike in the pic doesn't math the bike in the link. Here is the bike in the link.

This looks like '94ish Campione.

Don't hesitate and don't look back. These get better with age. I'd like to see the serial number. Santana hadn't retained records that far back but there's some coding, low numerals, builder initials. Minor: crank out of synch (according to some), I'd re-paint the Arai drag brake to something else, probably should have a Phil front hub vs. the Campy.

Bianchi Volpe Road/XC Bicycle c. 1990 - Tuned up and rewrapped
[h=2]Bianchi Volpe Road/XC Bicycle c. 1990 - Tuned up and rewrapped - $300 (Wakefield, MA)[/h]

make / manufacturer: Bianchi
model name / number: Volpe

Moving to NH this summer and I don't have any use for a road bike. I put a fair amount of work into this bike, including a general tuneup, new wires, new chain, re-wrapped handlebars and new tubes. It's a throwback that rides great. I haven't taken it out this season, but I would regularly go on 20 mile rides with it last summer/fall. Properly cared for and stored this winter. Contact me if you want it!

Will accept trades for cool stuff.

I have a Westy and it's a stretch to say you can put "lots of bikes" in one. Seriously, more than one would be too many.

Pete Matthews 531 bike in DC: $300
Small ex-pro Liverpool builder. Looks swell. Not my size, but if I hadn't just blown my budget on a not my size DeRosa, I'd be all over this.

Bah. Plenty o room. I once had 8 bikes in a 1st gen Honda Odyssey. But you're right. That ain't exactly the point of a Westy. Still, this is Bike Forums and I gotta pitch it somehow.

Kind of a no-brainer if it's just surface rust.
