Thank you!

Could you think about some fancy bar plugs for this guy after the first of the year please?

I have more than my share of these Kvales at this point. I just couldn't pass on this one though.

I'll get a pic together of them after New Years.

My white one is my "up at the cabin" road bike and it's living in the great north woods till spring.

Hi,

Here's a few pictures of my Norco Monterey SL

These are from back in May 2014 when I rode this bike for BTWW. Just noticed that I never even wiped down the bike to get the dust off of it. I just pulled it out of storage, lubed the chain and rode to work.

Damn also noticed I've committed the first deadly sin on this forum...... posting no drive side picture.
Please forum readers be kind. Checked the pictures I took that day and I forgot to take a drive side picture.
I really know better I just forgot.

No worries!

I put a bike in front of our fireplace and took a shot. No one gave me the business.

Hi Gomango,

Yes your picture is in front of the fireplace but its also drive side out!!!
That is one wonderful looking bike. I'm always amazed at the beautiful bikes I see on this forum.
I've never seen or heard of that model or builder before.

I own less desired bikes like my Norco Monterey SL and Meile Condor.....
To me they are great bikes.... Their both responsive and aglie just not high end tubing or great name groupo's.

Don't see a lot of information about either company or these models in particular on this site or anywhere on the Internet.
Until I get over 50 posts I can't PM folks like yourself who may be able to tell me more about these bikes.

You seem like quite the character.... Your posts are entertaining and informative.

I have seen a similar tower on the Eastern Shore of MD. All of the locals called it a lime kiln, used to burn oyster and clam shells down to usable agricultural lime. I don't know if that is legend or fact.

Allegedly. I've seen that, but can't remember where in the Boston area it's located.

This is Carlisle. I asked a local resident who happened to be walking by about a different building across the road, this one:

She didn't know but volunteered that there was mining in Carlisle in the 1700's, and lime deposits. But she figured this tower to be newer than that.

OK, I see. If similar size stonework was used on the tower, it would be taller than the lime kiln. The one I saw was about 14' tall (although the top stone row was not all there).

Took advantage of being off for holiday and went to the recently opened Ed Paschke art center/museum.

They have a nice collection of Ed's work and a recreation of his studio. Recommended if you're visiting Chicago.
