This morning I went for a quick spin before work on my first proper road bike, and first STI-equipped ride.
Got home, showered and cruised into work (just a few miles) on the Carlton.

Took the water taxi down to China Town. Got a nice view of the Amtrak bridge.
100 years old, still works - definitely classic and vintage.

Some belated pics from our visit to Seattle a week ago; taken July 4th at Gas Works Park:
Tens of thousands waiting for the show to begin; Venus and Jupiter in the distance.

Nice pics, Roger - where is that? Looks like someplace I'd like to trek

Not lost wanderer.
I hope my Fuji Stratos is Classic enough Rode to Phnom Penh and back to Kampong Cham this week, 160Km (had to get in my first Imperial century) there and 123 back. On the way back home I got stopped by a motorcade and saw the King drive by.

As I improve steadily, I've been doing a lot of off-the-bike fitness stuff. It seems I'm finding a new hike every other day
Blanca Lake:
Side-trip on one of my Iron Goat Trail hikes:
Abandoned Great Northern Railway tunnel:
Old East Portal, Cascade Tunnel. Abandoned in 1929:
Going to do my first ride in a couple months with Bob Freeman and a bunch of other guys over in North Bend tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed!

@Drillium Dude , 'press on, regardless'. Kudos!
On a related to the thread topic - if I were to put up 2 or 3 'Every Day Pics' - could we have an unofficial poll as to which one is the favorite?

The boys did a little driving at the farm on the 4th.
We stayed off the roads, for sure.

I've been wanting an excuse to visit a relatively new shop in my area, Pursuit Bicycles, which has a really nice collection of NOS and lightly used vintage bikes, as well as some new models. (The pretense was taking in my Merlin in to have the proprietary pressed BB overhauled. The owner/mechanic was a cool dude. Unfortunately, he felt that I would be better served by taking it to a Merlin dealer than had the proper Merlin tools or adequate press which he did not have. I actually appreciated this, instead of him just whacking away at it and potentially doing harm to my prized frame.) They have one of the largest collections of 3Rensho frames around. There were at least half a dozen NOS 3Rensho frames hanging from the rafters plus another half dozen 3Rensho bikes scattered around the shop. Not to mention Nagasawa's, Chesini, Colnago, Look, etc. Oh and just a ho-hum Cinelli Laser pursuit bike. I don't spend much time at the LBS, but I'm going to have to come up with another excuse for going back, maybe just for more and better photos...
