Fuji S12-S Mixte

A recently finished project. Came to me with mostly original parts... except the dura ace/mavic wheelset. 1980 model year.

Nice !! I have a major project for a '75 or '76 S-10-S Special Road Racer that's in really bad shape, but I fell in love with the green color. I hope I can do ½ as well as you did. I got both my daughters vintage road bikes as part of their Christmas, and practice for me on bike restoration. This picture makes it look in better shape than it actually is

Both of those bikes look great. Is that the original paint?

You gotta love that Fuji was not afraid to put there name on the bike. The crank arms and fork cap look great.

Thanks all. The paint was original. The bike came to me very dusty but hardly ridden. I just don't understand how someone could have put those wheels on and then not ridden it!

Fuji S10-S ... the work horses of the fleet. Good work saving and restoring!

Very nice. Is it for you or someone else? I think mixtes look better with upright handlebars, either flat-ish or swept back.

I prefer mixtes with upright bars too. This was a craigslist flip. Too many bikes in the barn...
