im a Clyde (6'1" 285 lbs) and live in a very hilly area. i did 8 miles yesterday (my first ride of the year), the last two of which were mostly uphill. not a 20 percent grade, but just a 3 or 4 percent, steady grind. made me realize i have the strength, but not the wind. im wondering if i should ride every day, every other day, etc? i want to take this weight off, but dont want to hurt or kill myself!! any help is appreciated.
