30 years old and I ride bikes. Put me on a mountain bike or a roadie and I'm happy.

I'm 23, was mostly into XC to begin with (Gary Fisher Sugar 2), then moved to more freeride type stuff (KHS Witchdoctor). Now I mainly love to downhill (Kona Stinky Nine), but I do everything with my stinky nine, if I feel like doing a 3 hour XC with it, I do, haha. It sucks climbing those hill though with a near 50 pound bike.

This should have been posted as a poll or something.
29...ummm...30 next month.
I'm a Gemini, 6'1" 185
I like aggressive XC riding, light Freeriding, and casual moonlit ride down a set of stairs.
Actually, I tend to lean more toward the aggressive XC than anything else these days. I can't stay in shape jumping / freeriding. I get too slow, and I hate it.

Bloody youngsters..... Age does not matter on a bike, as some of you may find out if you get out and do some group riding. I no longer worry about the rides and how far I jumped or how fast I went or how technical the trail is. All I want to do is the ride. Just getting ready for my big one so how many of you are into long distance XC? That is the riding I have settled into now- Nothing better than a 60 mile XC in the middle of winter on a nice cool dry day. Even I am not mad enough to enjoy Wet rides but they have to be done occasionally. I may not be able to stay with the youngsters on a 25 mile ride with about 2,000ft of climbing on slippery tracks or Rutted downhills, but throw in the extra climb or put that 20% hill in for 1/2 a mile and I'll be there.
By the way-- Age ancient at 59 but big ride in a month- 100miles- 10,000ft of climbing 98% offroad and only 15 hours to do it in. That is a ride in my opinion and age will not matter after about 65 miles when the majority of riders stop.
