Interesting Kenda find:
When I took the Excavator off the front today to fix a flat, I noticed that there were numbers vulcanized on the inside but they were written backward...sorta inverted like they built a casing then added a layer of knobs over the top. They said 26x2.4
This would explain why the 2.35 Excavator is slightly wider than the 2.35 Nevegal. (a little over 3mm) This is basically irrelevant except for people who may experience tire clearance issues. I haven't gotten the 2.35" Nevegal to rub at all, but the Excavator rubbed slightly, probably under cornering side loads or something.
So I'll prob switch to a 2.35" Nev. DTC rear with a 2.5" Nev front next time 'round.
Edit: Sticky
