I had a new trainer workout today. Got a little bit of a late start, I was really tired and needed to chug some black coffee before I got going. Then issues with my iPod and I had to monkey with that for a few min between intervals. It being a new workout, I was a little ****zy hitting my power targets, I usually hit them with robotic precision, neither 1 watt over nor 1 watt under. I was way off on some of these, so went long on a few of the 18 intervals (disclaimer: I am aware I'm not supposed to do that, I'm guessing I won't get in trouble though because I almost never do anything like that). By the end, my favorite cool down song was on my playlist and I couldn't stop with that on.
Finally Mr H comes out onto the patio and tries to tell me I'm running over & am going to miss my train. I pretend I don't know he's there, but he knows that I know he's there. He shoves his IPhone right in front of my eyes, pointing at the time display. Time to accept reality and stop riding my bike. Its a slightly sad moment for me.
Haha. At least once a week, some "wind in your hair" type of cyclist accuses me of not knowing how to have fun on the bike. They have zero idea. Zero.
