Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bummer. Diagonal tracks are evil, especially when wet. I've seen some nasty crashes on them. Heal quick. (Y)

Oh yeah, Mr IGH, who told me in Touring that I had no experience with dynohubs. I didn't correct him that I've used dynohubs for well over a decade and we currently have more than five in the household, SON and Shimano. It just wasn't worth the aggravation.

Tell me about it!! I approach rail tracks with huge caution these days, unless I am going fast enough to bunnyhop them (which is almost never).

Agree... heal up SpeshulEd. The break will do you good.

+100 Disagreeing with most BF folks just isn't worth the effort. I get no reward just being right.

"Funny Story" has the chance to be thread of the day.

I would post "Does your group allow shirtless riders as long as they wear a helmet and don't have disc brakes?" but I am on hiatus for parody/tribute threads.

Picked up a Romin Evo on the way home last night. Forecast this week is pretty rainy, but I'll probably get out on Friday to check it out. It passed the sit on it in the house with dress pants on test, but that is not the most accurate test.

I'm pretty excited since I've been riding the last 4,000 miles or so on a seat that is a little too narrow for my sit bones according to the ol' butt-o-meter.

Which will get locked first?

I'm going with "Funny Story". The OP may also get a vacation. He is being rather belligerent.

Possibly. I made a minor contribution, but really need to stay out of the 41 whenever possible.

Was given a container of all natural gluten free organic non-GMO honey. What should I do with it? Honey isn't something that is usually in my kitchen.

Try it instead of sugar? In your tea/coffee? On your cereal? No rush, honey has a very long shelf life.

If you make smoothies at all, throw in a spoonful of honey.

After a harder ride, I like to throw a handful of misc frozen fruit in the blender with a little milk, a splash of OJ, a spoonful of greek yogurt, and dollop of honey. Mmm mmm good.

You should start a thread about this. Make sure that you include a question about disc brakes, riding without a shirt/jersey and tubeless tires.
