Gowescycles scam?
I went through the process and it took me to PayPal. Not sure if that means anything. They seem to sell old stock. Awfully cheap. Too good to be true most likely. Just wondering if anyone knows for sure.

You know what they say about when something sounds too good to be true? How much is shipping? I could get a Cervelo R3 Ultegra for about half the cost of what I paid to build up my Workswell with Ultegra
2014 CERVELO R3 ULTEGRA BIKE
Diamondback Podium with 11 speed Super Record and carbon wheels for $724 is a steal!
Diamondback Podium 7 Campagnolo Super Record
Order and let us know how it goes

If they are not fake, this is an awfully good under-the-radar ad.

The best deal you'll find for Super Record groupset is about $1700
Campagnolo 2015 Super Record 11 Spd Carbon Double Groupset at Ribble Cycles
So if you can get a complete bike with Super Record and carbon wheels for $724 it's a no brainer right?? I could do that put the groupset on my bike and then throw the frameset and wheels in the trash and still be ahead

I've yet to see one of these ultra-cheap bike sellers (Who sell bikes whose manufacturers don't allow to be sold online) based in Indonesai which wasn't a scam!
They don't have a merchant account to take credit cards- that should be your first tip-off. (Note: The credit card logos are part of the PayPal logo)
Since paying through PayPal and funding the purchase with a credit card would offer the customer recourse, I'm willing to be that if someone actually tried to buy one of these bikes, by the time they hit check-out, they would be asked to either pay via PayPal's MoneyPak (Which is like cash, and offers no recourse) or some other non-traceable no-recourse method...or they'd string you along until the buyer protection period is over- saying that "It is delayed in shipping"- or maybe send you a brick that weighs about what a bicycle would weigh- that way they'd have delivery confirmation when you file a claim that you never received your bike, and you'd lose.
Anyone want to try it? I'd love to see what their angle is.
Now excuse me, I must go buy that 2009 Honda Accordion on CL for $2104 with free shipping and a 10 day free return period from this nice lady with an all-American sounding name, who is being beployed to Iraq[sic]....

I was doing business with a company which fronted out of London - receipts, correspondence, etc. all said London. I started to suspect something was screwy and it turns out they were three software developers in Pakistan working wherever they could get an internet connection.
These gowecycle guys are advertising $2600 frames for $900 - I'm sorry but I don't trust a word they say about anything.

A huge selection of bikes with many seemingly available in every size possible all at stupidly cheap prices in a country not well known for its high end road biking.
How on earth did all these high end bikes end up Jakarta?
Pop the address on the website into Google earth and check out street view. No sign of the business and the traffic shows why this country is not a road cycling hotbed.

Lots of companies are fronted one place and actually operate out of another.

No one would be fronting from Indonesia.

The website says they've been serving customers for many years, but the site's only one year old.
gowescycles.com on scamadvisor
I also noticed their facebook page is less than 1 year old.

Don't bother, it's a scam, I'm from Jakarta, and the company's address is fake
there are not many high end cycling store around here, and for them to offer that many high end brand is very suspicious
there are bikes like Baum, Passoni, IndyFab roaming around Jakarta but they are mostly imported

Seriously- one couldn't even buy a decent Chinese knock-off for the prices at which they are supposedly selling the real things!
