Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Small update for my 1983 Peugeot PSV10. Finally healed up so I'm riding it nearly everyday to work and around the trails when I have spare time. Great ride!

You can clamp it on the frame if you do it very lightly, and if you put a rag around the part youre clamping. But I only do this when I'm working with unclamp-able seat tubes, such as aero seat tubes, and with bikes that have the seat too low to have the seat tube clamped.

Great Peugeot! Looks great with the Brooks and vintage-style bag.

Marin Portofino - I was going to sell/trade the frameset because it felt a little large, but I decided to build it up and just ride it.

Can you comment on the action of the new Athena levers as you appear to be the first online with pics I have seen? I have the 2009 alloy Centaur and black alloy Veloce levers. The Centaur has a very soft down shift, Veloce a little more 'meat' to it. Still both are not close to the positive 'clunk' action on my 2007 old style Carbon levers that Campy has been known for.

With wut.

Components+Groupset+Wheelset vary the weight considerably. Frame is a small fraction of total weight.

My lynskey in my sig weighs 17.5 on the nose as pictured. It would drop a good amount with different wheels and saddle.
