Kool Stop Tire Bead Jack - installing tires with tight wire beads is no longer challenging.

Hoping so ;) I've been riding Aspide Superleggera's for the last couple of years but just don't find them comfy on rides longer than 4hrs anymore...rode the LBS test (well broken in) antares for a few hundy km without any discomfort before committing :thumb:

The lightweight bibs have a reputation for having a rough seem on the inside of the leg. You notice that at all?

interesting. no, I didn't notice anything at all. did a 30 mile ride in them yesterday and they were great.

They also have a reputation for falling apart after just a few washes unfortunately. :(

Best $100 I've ever spent on biking!

Where did you get a fitting for that rate?

I just went to the LBS. He told me a fit would be $100. :thumb:

I guess while we're talking about latest purchases, I'm happy to say I just pulled the trigger on some new Mavic Ksyrium Equipe S wheels today!

These, but the sent me they female version which I didn't realize at first. Ahem, they don't cover certain parts well. I had to exchange them for the male version. Now I no longer get strange looks when I stop at the local coffee shop.

I didn't get too bad of a deal on them. I paid $530, which I think is about $20 cheaper than most other places. While it's by no far a steal of a price, $20 is $20. :D

I just ordered a new jersey from the clymb.com from Giordana leaders jersey. I was looking for a brighter jersey and this one is brighter yellow and white plus it has NO marketing graphics on it. $45 but I had a credit.

If you sign up and buy something I get a credit.

I recently bought a new helmet as well. My helmet from 2007 was too crusty and I figured it was time for a change.

I finally joined the Memphis Hightailers club yesterday, so that I could attend a special event at my favorite LBS just for members.

I'm glad I did as I picked up Bontrager SSR Multisport shoes for 60% off (35 bucks!) and then I won in a drawing for a $20 gift card. With that I bought a wired computer same as I use on my road bike, for my KHS bike so that I can use my Cygolite light without wireless interference. Bontrager Trip 2L computer, normally $35 which they had for 15% off, then my gift card which made it only $12 out of my pocket. :)

Nice combo.

I was thinking of getting the same setup but with the ultegra racing edition model and stages Power meter.

Two new bikes. Couldn't decide between trek madone and cannondale synapse so got them both. Now we'll see which becomes my favored bike.
