Question about a carbon bike I purchased

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So we're on page 4 and still no bike brand? I guess it doesn't matter anymore. Question has been answered, dude wanna keep it a mystery. Is there really a point to keeping this thread open? Just sayin... it's never gonna come out in the open, so why bother trying to find out? Just close the thread and be done with it.

But are they Ultegra with some really small print that reads: "specially made for Wal-mart"?

Couple of years ago they had a carbon bike (probably the same frame) with partial 105 group for $500-$550. That was the deal of the century!

These two pages give some detailed insight into the differences between T-700 and T-800.

If it's got living tissue around an exoskeleton, it's a T-800. No living tissue, T-700. Simple and no Italian required.

Okay, I'll be the bigger man and offer some help. If you really want to find out what grade CF your frame is made of, you can tell for sure the next time you change your chain.

If it were my bike, I'd look for a label on the frame itself. I'd trust that over a webpage somewhere.
