Ever been hit by a car or a semi truck while riding on the MUP...?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What kind of response to that are you looking for, Jamie?

I've certainly taken more than my fair share of licks in this forum since joining...

Try not to confuse irreverence & sarcasm with whatever it is you think I'm doing.

Keep in mind, the general tone & tenor of this particular forum was set long before I ever came along. If you have a problem, you should probably be looking elsewhere.

Maybe you looked like you were overheating.

All the sugar in those things gets sticky in 35 degree weather.

Yes, if you posted it there many panties would get twisted.

I'd rather deal with a semi on a MUP, than with the legions of dog walkers, joggers with headphones running on the wrong side, walkers 4-5 abreast across the whole path, and other things that keep me from riding on MUPs unless it's absolutely necessary. The semi isn't very likely to dart across my front wheel, like a dog on a freaking 20' leash.
