Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Always go with "mad skills" when describing Near Death Escapades™ on BF.

Ha ha. I remember when a friend had a cutting edge Zip drive - the storage was so cavernous that we decided to pull off a nerd heist; we snuck it in to our Mac lab at school and cloned one of the machines so that we could have PageMaker and Photoshop on our home computers. Ah, living dangerously for year book editors.

I did that last night - salted caramel ice cream topped with marshmallows and chocolate covered almonds, drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce. It was good, but I had to share.

- It must be so surreal holding a controller and watching on a screen and then realizing, you just had killed people.

Not a fan of the pics on Facebook and social media of people asking for likes for a young woman or man who returned with missing limbs and severe injuries. Because I ask for whom did she sacrificed her leg for? For Halliburton? These young people, at 18, are they even able to to truly understand what they are sacrificing their lives for? Do they truly believe Afghanistan and Iraq were worth losing their leg? I don't know, but it's depressing.

I just can't imagine what it must be like to be told to kill another human being without a clear understanding why you have been ordered to. I would have to truly know what I'm doing is right and what I'm doing will protect my family and country.

This isn't WW I or WW II, or Civil War where I can understand why men all over were willing to sacrifice their lives.

Terrorists I can't condone and is scary someone can have that much hate. But killing them sure doesn't seem like a solution. It seems like a great way to foster more hate. Seems to me it just makes it easier for terrorist organizations to recruit and find financing. Believe BBC and others have been reporting Al Queda are financially stronger, have better resources and their recruitment is spreading.

It works well.

SendThisFile, and the like works OK, but the Drop Box type stuff is quite good, just limited by the space you are allowed.

No to DropBox. Eww to Condoleeza Rice. Doesn't make much sense for a software company that wants to provide affordable, secure hosting would add someone who supported wiretapping, and spying on US citizens.

DropBox CEO suffering severe mental degradation?

Happy that Rutger University came to their senses and cancelled the war criminal's invitation.

I use dropbox a lot. Usually, the free service is just fine. Once a year, I need to distribute 8-10 video clips, each about 10 minutes long, all at the same time. That far exceeds the free service, so I pay. Once everything is delivered, I cancel the paid service. No issues. No sales pitches. There is a button that says "Cancel Upgraded Membership". Once you click that, it's done. They send you an email that says that I've paid through X date and the upgrade will be cancelled at that time.

One word of caution - I installed it on my wife's computer and she started getting popups pretty soon after. They were easy to get rid of, however, a quick googly tells me that I'm not the only one who had that happen to. Not widespread complaints, but the irony is too much for me to categorically dismiss.

Overall, it works well and I'd use it again.

She's also a doper. Look at those eyes. EPO written all over them. You can't tell me she would beat Cav in a sprint fair and square.
