I'm signed up for this years tour de chocolate...

I'm signed up for this years tour de chocolate town. It's my first attempt at a Century... how was your ride last year ? The 3500 elevation gain seems intimdating as all hell.

I really don't want to invest too much money since i'm not sure if road biking is for me or not. I'm torn between a 2013 left over trek 1.1 @ 500$ or going way cheaper and picking up a walmart bike...

Took it to 2 bike shops and was turned away from tuning it up. "cheaper to buy a new bike compared to the amount of parts it needs" shame since i really bonded with it.

Back in May 2012 a buddy gave me an old trek bike. That moment changed my life... I am now down 58lbs,I bike ride 8-10 miles a day(Along with my Son) and i'm pretty much hooked on getting out there...
