Today I rode 30 miles and decided to give up on my saddle rail mounted bottle holders. I also lost one water bottle. I also drank too much coffee at work tonight.

Finally got a stuck seat post out of a 40 dollar bike I bought a couple weeks back to have a cheap normal shoe bike. Hopefully I can get it painted next weekend and be riding it by May.

Today I just had an on coming car cut me off so bad I hit the brakes went over the bars and nearly got ran over because they didn't stop. I'm fine but remember, wear your helmet, kiddos.

^^^ Well, at least you don't have to worry about mowing the grass. Meanwhile, down here it's not much better. Temps in mid 40s and dropping, North wind in the upper 20s, gusting to 40+. No doubt my furnace will be kicking in shortly and I'm wearing a sweater inside my house. We're expecting a hard freeze tonight; good thing I haven't removed the outside faucet covers yet.

Good news is the doorbell should be ringing any time now with a couple of packages from San Diego.

I could have guessed the second half of this sentence just by reading the first half.

So you're getting ninety bucks back?

Vans are the worst shoe ever made, bunch of skinny footed jerks.

Today I rode off a 1' curb and dropped my chain. Luckily nothing bad happened after that, just jammed foot behind fork, cursed at scratched chainstay, put chain back on, made mental note to pull the wheel back a bit when I get a chance.

Yep, they make my feet hurt. DC can't make a shoe that lasts for more than 4 months, I went through 4 pairs of DC shoes back in 2011 all cracked at just before the arch of the foot. Best shoe store shoe I've used for use with the dmr were the etnies I used in 2012. Got a pair of Shimano AM 41's last year and are now on their 2nd season. Otherwise I wear loafers since I prefer comfort over style for a regular shoe.

nah, $800.

i aint skinny footed by any means. my boot size is 8eeee, i wear 8.5eeee or 9ee in new balances, 9ee in topsiders, and i'm ordering a 9.5 in both of those. i wear a 9 in the authentics cause i'm usually wearing those barefoot...they get kinda deformed. it seems the only standard/medium width shoes i can wear are vulcanized shoes, especially vans. the sidewalls give out to make room for my buff-ass feet, that are usually wider than the shoes they go into. never gonna be able to find proper hockey skates, cycling shoes, soccer shoes. not for cheap anyway. oh well.

i'm gonna fix up my bike for like $100-$200, and probably get some tattoos removed, and sit on the rest of it for a rainy day.
