Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

If you do not mind me asking, where did you pick up that holder, as well as how much did it cost?

I am thinking I might need one for a trip I will be taking in a few weeks, so I do not have to keep reaching into my bag.

I got it here for $14:
https://www.ebikestop.com/tacx_behind...amp-WC2019.php

It doesn't come with cages or screws for the cages, but you could easily get it from a shop or the site too.

This is the water cage I got

Here are the bolts you can get for it

This is stunning!! How tall are you and what size frame is it?

I'm about 5'8". It's the small affinity frame which is roughly a 52-53.

Thanks for all the compliments!

For short trips, snow, rain and not breaking. Horizontal dropout setup is too spotty, needs a singulator before the chain stretches out too much

the fixer taking a much deserved break after some unplanned single track duty (in the woods across the lake).

I'm loving the new topeak propack (medium size) saddle bag...finally a saddle bag that doesn't rub my shorts/thighs.

I worked on doing that when my bike was free-wheelin, so i got it down pretty well. Just go really slow at first, then roll the back of the pedal with the ball of your foot. You'll get it! If you can, try to work on it with a free-wheel bike.

Yeah, It's getting easier, it's just a pain in the ass when it keeps spinning and they scrape on the ground if I lean to one side haha.
