Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Looks like fun! I had that saddle for a while, but I ditched it for something a little higher end and less knock-off haha.

yeah, I heard couple people on here talk about it, thought it'd look good on the blk/wht kilo and to find out it's more comfortable than I thought.

b:h....what do you mean accepted? Like do you literally have to fill out an application and have them approve it or something? Or do you just mean that there is so much snobbery among the users there that you didn't get their stamp of approval? Just curious...

haha OMG that's the lamest thing I've ever heard of. It's a &^*&^& bike forum. Jesus. So being interested in FG bikes and living in SF isn't good enough? What do they want? A PhD in velodrome architecture or something? I hate always hated the SF fixed gear scene, but now I really hate it.

dougland---why are your bars pointed downwards? Also, why do you have a rolls on such a light/fast bike? I would put a sleeker saddle on there personally. Since you have 2 other bikes that are heavier/more relaxed cruiser type bikes, why not make this one racy and fast? Just my 2 cents

yeah, don't get me wrong, I love the Rolls...I have one on my fixed conversion. I was just saying if I had your fleet I would probably dedicate the Fuji to being a hardcore, fast, light, uncomfortable racing bike. I didn't know that about the rolls though.. That's funny cause I consider it a comfort type saddle now a days.

My 70's Schwinn Super Le Tour. This may become my next commuter so I'll keep the reflectors on for awhile. That Serfas r/x saddle is very comfortable for me But I'm looking to get a Selle An-Atomica saddle for it and I have some Serfas Seca road tires coming in for it.

I am actually in the market for a bash guard, and it's funny that you mention the fork. I blew my front fork yesterday on the trails, and was thinking of getting a rigid front fork.
