Probably so. Even the cheapest Kalloy seatpost is light years ahead in quality over the garbage "Kalin" product supplied in the Kilo. At least on my Kilo WT it was a standard 27.2mm size, and I replaced it with a beautiful Velo Orange Grand Cru, which only comes in that size.
