It has no major affect on balance. What it does is offer a more responsive ride because the single strut is stronger than a traditional for so I don't lose anything. The bike turns amazingly well and if you are not careful, you can overturn. The forks are much lighter than the two sided counterparts also. The equivalent 110 mm travel traditional fork is around two or more pounds heavier. Once I got use to the more precise and accurate turning, I don't want to go back to an old traditional fork.

Have you compared the precision to something like a PIKE or other 20mm TA fork?
