It's a DH stem. It's freakin' gnar.

The stem stack height is only 26mm.

The beauty of the Spank Spike is in the pinch bolt. Instead of using 1 or 2x 4mm hex screws that thread through one piece of stem into the other (like a thomson)...the whole thing is "through bolted" with an 8mm "high torque lock down" sex bolt. It's tough enough.
