We had a fantastic ride today.
I forget who asked about cold weather gear, but it can be done on the cheap. For temps around freezing I use a summer jersey as a base layer, a long sleeve jersey (or polypro base layer)in the middle, and a medium thick sugoi jacket. If a bit warmer pitch the long sleeve middle layer. If way under freezing (like 15-25F) add another summer jersey for extra layer. Waist down, medium tights over bibs/shorts, if below freezing I have wind proof thicker tights, and those RARE rides when under say 15F I use both tights.
