Go out and get some piece'o'crap Avid Juicy's. Those stupid things (worthless as they are) have worked for me from day 1 until now with very little problem.
Okay I was being sarcastic, but seriously...have your LBS work you a trade for those Hayes and get in to some Avid's.
Very powerful and probably the easiest to set up and bleed.
You can't go wrong.
