Opening motors is just not something I want to deal with either. And paying someone else to pull it and replace everything from the crankshaft on up is gonna be pricey.
The Mustang Boss 302 is looking better and better. I may even be redneck enough to pull it off.

You live in Georgia...a Mustang might as well be a Ferrari. Funny you mention the Stang though I was going to suggest it...but going from an E36 to Mustang is going to be a bit of a culture shock if only because of the handling and the touch surfaces...and the switch gear....and the...well the whole package...but you will be able to do smokey burn outs.

I think the same can be said of just about every genre. They've all been around for a while, and nothing *really* new is happening anywhere. There's some instrumental/electronica stuff that is really different and out there, but most of that isn't even in the mainstream.
I do suppose some indie stuff is new and original, but a lot of that just isn't my scene. Stuff like the Dirty Projectors and TV on the Radio.

So it's kinda like punk in that regard? Not sure exactly what you mean by mannered. I'm not talking about gangsta rap where everything fits in a very 'done' subject matter or Asher Roth who just sounds really immature. The stuff that Chiddy Bang is sampling is really sweet. They've sampled sufjan for a song before. Their DJ (xaphoon) is doing some really neat stuff.

Did a recovery ride this afternoon.
My friends Doug and Leslie live in the house with the open garage
This is basically the view from their front yard.
I've suggested they should come stay with us Saturday night...

Yup! That must have happened while I was on my way home. It explains why there were several more vans that pulled up while I was standing there watching the circus.

He doesn't need *nix. He can use cygwin. (BTW, "file" works fine on a mac too, since it's basically BSD)

CNN is interviewing the local Imam who apparently brokered the "deal." It sounds like they're making stuff up to try to save face.

The pastor and the imam who are claiming that the Park 51 imam has agreed to move. Now the Park 51 imam is saying that this is the first he's heard of it.

I was wondering if they don sweaters over the shoulders before, during, or after the ride? =]

All I will say is if the UF football team plays as poorly as last weekend there will be "coaches in effigy" burnings instead of Koran burnings on Saturday evening in Gainesville.
