Last day of riding in Santa Fe today. I'm going to do hill intervals up the Santa Fe Ski Climb today. Should be fun.

I've sold a bunch of components, a bike, an old frame, some wheelsets, wood stove, old tractor ...... So far, I consider myself lucky not to have any issues. I sold $800 wheels to a guy in S. Africa. I was a little nervous on that one. He actually bought a 2nd set a month later.
However, I think I'll sell off my remaining vintage parts, a few non-bike items, and that will be about it as far as future selling.

Items under $100, that are small so they have low shipping $ seem to be low risk. It's the big ticket items where the seller can really get screwed.

This is a bit of a stretch, but does anyone in the middletown, ct area have a bike in the 56cm size range that I could borrow for a day or so later this month? I'm trying to go on the ride at wes, but I have no car and am at the mercy of my friends to even get there. None of them have a rack I could put the bike on.

I organized the ride every year at wes and it would be awesome if I could do it this year. No-bike=no ride

How long ago was that, and which model? I'm about to put a 3GS that has a crack in the back casing, but runs flawlessly, along with a couple other components on the ebay, an otter box and a docking car charger. I'd probably be pretty happy with $200...

less than a year ago. It was a 16gb 3G.

I bet you'd get more than that for it. I figure these guys are buying them and refubing them cheap and selling them for double what they pay.

WTF am I missing? Why are there iPhones on eBay that are selling for $3000? With many bids.

There are a bunch of 3GS on there that are unlocked and going for $3500 and crazy stuff, with like 10 bids. WTF?

I just git $hit for using the word "whilst" in a text to a friend (who happens to be in his late 40's and not a youngster). It was the correct word to use in that case. Damn.

well, it is kind of archaic and pretentious. Still doesn't mean you can't use it. The British use it all the time, but they're British.

So, what will happen if I use the word "whence" in an email to this guy?
