I know that. It is only step one.
And FB is correct that the web is a great source. I told her "just google the damn thing and get all you want", but she wants something that is "smarter" than that. She wants something that can learn about her tastes and interpret all the available data (with an algorithm that learns over time which sources to trust more and which to discount). Of course her own tasting notes are the best source, but web resources are not to be ignored.

maybe I should make a BF app. Something that makes it more intuitive and easier to browse from a Droid.

Had a dogfish head punkin ale with dinner. So freaking good.
Dinner was 2 pork tenderloins, a few potatoes, and green beans. Nom nom nom. Go toaster ovens!

Cool photos Big John.
I did a practice cross race tonight. Was the second time on my new cross bike. I didn't permanently damage my reproduction system or lay down the bike in any of the turns. So, I think it went well.

are you all standing around wondering why you're on road bikes on a gravel road?

It's 50 degrees out. I'm super tempted to ride out to work...
I wish I had a better arrangement of sorts because I don't have enough good warm non cycling clothes to wear. I guess I could throw on SPD-SL's to one of my town bikes, but then I'll be walking around in cleats which doesn't work. Ugh. If I could throw down for it, good SPD shoes would be the answer wouldn't they...

Is that a huge cross course? Is that a long run-up back there?

I'm on vacation right now, but a friend called from work with a situation that actually made me wish I was working instead. It seems that up at the Nanuet Pathmark, one of the stores we service, one of the night crew was unloading a trailer. Full trailer, grocery load, so it was pretty heavy. This genius decides to unload one side of the trailer first, rather that taking one pallet from the right, then one from the left. He brings one of the last ones from the one side into the store, goes around a corner with it, and hears a loud noise from the trailer. Looks back at the bay, no trailer. Calls the store manager, tells him that somebody just stole the trailer.
Of course the manager goes to the back, looks out the bay, and sees the trailer lying on its side.
My friend is the driver that was dispatched to clear out the trailers around out, so the wrecker driver could get the trailer upright. I'm hoping he took a lot of pictures.
