The bit about using negative visualization to enhance your life is what I find interesting. Cherish your family and friends every chance you can, you may not see them tomorrow.

I also found that interesting. It's something I do quite often and I didn't know there was a specific name for it. Visualizing things in that way may seem morbid to those who haven't tried but I'm actually a very positive & optimistic person. For example: As I walk around shutting the house down at night I'm often initially stressed or unhappy with seeing my boys toys & school stuff cluttering up the rooms & hallways. To get over it I remember that we have several friends that have lost children, or have grown children in college, and that this is something they won't experience anymore. Having messy boys is better than a clean empty house.

Yeah, I've become much more interested in stoicism lately. It shares some characteristics with some other practices I've found helpful in my life. If you are familiar with the Serenity Prayer: when you realize you cannot change anything that has happened up until this moment in time, that's powerful stuff.

sell your shoes (won't need them to barefoot!), buy a speedo (it's ironic!), and you'll be all set for "tryathleticisim in 2011"

My daughter asked me why I need two monitors at work. So I turned on cartoons on one side and her facebook page on the other.

F it, I am gonna go hit the cookie tray...
i've already raided the cookie tray a few times since arriving home. pretty damn sure that i won't be posting in the weight loss thread for a while

not very - a better question is, "how quickly would you like to end up on my blocked list?"
(well, that depends on your twitter feed - I don't know haw banal it is :-)

Better take them out too while you have the chance.

No munchies at my dismal office .... which is just as well.

I might try to hit it hard tomorrow morning on the trainer. I haven't done any 100 percenters in a long while. Maybe try 10-15 min intervals. But only if the IT band is good.
Felt ok today what little I did.

Is she getting closer and closer? If so, cue botto for the appropriate quote. If not, well, um, ... I'm sure that there are lots of other things to make your relationship wonderful
