nope, CAAD6. r4000si to be exact of the 02 vintage. this and the r5000 are the bikes that introduced bb30, except they didn't call it bb30 yet, just hollowgram system integration. im trying to see the differeces in caad 6s and more recent caads besides the ad copy.
Good info to know!

Ages Of Gaia -James Lovelock
I have never had to do a book report for biology before. I'm not interested. I was interested in philosophical side of the theory in the first few pages, but it seems that the rest of the book is just full of evidence that is far too scientific for my liking and understanding.
In summary, a guy tries to convince me that the earth is a living organism in 300 pages.

decided not to race tonight.
saw the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. great show.
hopefully i'll get the crit in tomorrow (if my ride calls me back).
otherwise, it's a ride followed by beer and fried food.

This is true, but you as much as anyone that schwagoholism goes hand-in-hand with riding a road bike. Part of the fun is obsessing over your next bike, the next upgrade, finding the best price. I hope anyway, because that's what I do.

My wife was squatting down working in the yard in low cut jeans. Part of her butt was showing. This guy was walking his dog and couldn't keep his eyes off her.
At least I have one trophy I can always go back to.

It's supposed to rain until Sat AM. That High Point Hillclimb is Sat AM. Rain is fine, but fog is not, and that's what caused them to suspend the later starters last year, when I registered, warmed up, and then they cancelled the race and half of us got stiffed (no refund either). That race is cursed. Let's hope I get to ride. Riding uphill in the rain would be just fine with me.

Suppose to rain here too. Crits in the rain absolutely suck.

I bonked hard last night during the A feature race. I didn't eat nearly enough in the afternoon. Still, I'm fat. I'm a good five pounds over where I raced most of last season.

But, as diets go, try to keep glycogen stores topped off. Eat every two hours or less. Especially if you have a hard training session or a race. Even medium glycemic foods like Sweet Potatoes, Brown Rice, Popcorn, can help keep your stores topped off. Then go for a high glycemic right after a hard training session when your muscles need to be repaired quickly.
I may not be a real bike racer yet. But I learned a lot in and out of the gym when I was a MeatHead.
