i thought "he" as well. Menchov looked so pained, but ended up doing well on the 3rd climb... Wonder if he went too hard, will lose time on decent/into the fnish?

Looks like it will be Menchov in Pink. With no Horillo, Rabobank will have their work cut out for them.
Universal just died for me!
Me too. That's some bad timing.
Menchov looks great, under 1km.
Amazing ride by Menchov
Not a good day for Rogers.
1:34:29 for Menchov 20 seconds on Levi.
Menchov - #1 - 1:34.29
Great/spectacular/incredible ride for Menchov. |
Crap! Guess I should have paid for RAI.
I hope history doesn't repeat itself(thinking of last time a Rabobank rider turned in an amazing time trial)

1:36 :26 1:54 down on Menchov. Levi in third overall, 6 seconds behind DiLuca
So Di Luca ends up down 1:54 to Menchov's time. I wonder how much time his not having aero bars cost him.

Di Luca still in 2nd on GC. Good, good ride.
The GC is gonna be exciting this last week! |
Armstrong with a respectable though not particularly impressive finish.
menchov pushed an awfully big gear up that last mountain.

Looking at the remaining stages, where is LL most likely to gain ground on the Russian?
As we saw today, it is not likely that LL will make up much if any time in the last TT. Guess that means LL will have to attack somewhere, this could get exciting! |
It seems like Di Luca is still in a good position to win with the way he has been climbing. Do you guys see Levi moving up at all?
