I did my first post-Nats workout yesterday afternoon. 30 minutes of high tempo/SST surrounded by an hour of recovery. I am carrying a lot of fitness for my last two races of the season.

I'm going to go ride my bike in a straight line with a few turns and some random hauling arse during lunch. I have nothing to train for so just good old fun.

Season over. Play time for next couple weeks. Back to structured training in hopes of a strong 2013 starting on 10/1.

77 Degrees, sunny, no wind or humidity so I decided to take a 45 minute spin, no effort to enjoy a beautiful day. Man was it nice.

Yep, it was 81 here when I left for a lunch ride with two teammates. Man, that was fun. Just 22 miles of rotating at tempo (threshold on the front, then just keep up in the draft). It's a nice easy way to go pretty fast.

Weather like this was meant for mountain biking. I'm going to be MTbing until it rains later this week.

I was rather perplexed by an moderate wind that changed directions every few min. I eventually gave up and picked a moderate pace after my stomach started cramping.

I run three times a week as it is rather convenient.
Speedwork day is..... amusing.
My goodness I am one slow runner. I have no idea how I will ever beat my 5K pr of 22:35 as I can barely manage 27 min.

DJ, I had the same issues with wind on the southside of town. It was blowing maybe 10 mph to the south when I started. A few minutes later it did a 180. A few minutes after that it seemed to be coming from the west. It continued as such for the whole ride.

My ride was ~30 miles of play. I stopped by the team shop, rolled some on the MUP, rounded Chatfield, then threw in a few jumps on the way home. Banging out lifetime bests on the sprint right now on a daily basis...icing on the cake after a fun year.

2000m tonight. A lot slower than WR's kids.

3 hrs with a bit of hipp ride ownage in the middle - won both mid ride sprints plus the final sprint. Really wish I could find the time to make it to Pensacola this weekend but I just got too much on my plate. Looking forward to Nocatee the following weekend though.

1hour super easy spin yesterday. At the beginning of the ride I grabbed a ~1min Strava KOM. My coach will probably hate me since I basically ruined the recovery spin. But hey, someone stole it from me and that is unacceptable when it's less than a .5 mile from my house!
