I wondered if you caught it or not...
Then I remembered you're just a young fella, probably shouldn't have been so vulgar.
I'm planning on destroying a chinese buffet this weekend - haven't been to a buffet in 2 months so watch out.

I have an friend (strong Cat 1) who starts work around 8-8:30. His long ride days he will be on the road at 3:30 am and get his 4-5 hours in and get into the office a little late. All of his training is done in the morning. He also rides 16-18 hours a week on rollers in the winter. Not my thing that's for sure.

I often get up at 4:30am to work out. I've gotten used to it and getting up at 7:00AM feels like I'm really sleeping in. I can't image getting up at 3:00ish to be on the road by 3:30AM though, that just seems insane. But maybe 4:30am seems insane to someone else.

in years past when I did a lot of double sessions I'd get 2-3 hours in beginning at 4:00am. Get the kid off to school and then hit it again for another couple or so. Most if not all of it would be indoors. One session would be weight work sandwiched between two roller sessions. It served me pretty well.

Yep, back in the old days I split workouts, two hours in the morning starting at 5am and then another 2-3 hours or a race after work.

What time do y'all go to bed? I'm asleep by 11:30 and I can only get myself out of bed at 6am perhaps 1 day per week (failed this morning). I train in the evenings all other times.

when I was training that early I went to bed around 8:00 when I could, always by 9:00. Married life has crimped that aspect of my lifestyle for sure.

I'm married and I go to sleep somewhere between 11p and 3am. Get up around 7am. Wife is asleep by 10pm and I get a lot done in those "quiet" hours. With this new program I guess I'll be in bed by 11p for sure the night before.

3 hours this morning with some threshold intervals...good ones at that. My teammate/ride partner needs to learn the definition of overtraining. He told me when we met up that his whole body was in pain because he decided to go for a run on Monday (day after a race weekend) and went to yoga class last night. He always complains about how low his heart rate is and how he couldn't get it up. I havne't wanted to tell him but using PC Coach on your computer and jacking it up to semi-pro or whatever isn't the best way to train.

Collegiate race this coming weekend (excited), recovery week next week (excited), and then time to add in a few higher intensity intervals one day a week (not so excited).
