It was. 10 years ago I kicked margarine out of the house and went to straight butter. Lost 5 lbs.

When I deny myself too much, I eat more of the stuff that doesn't taste so good. If I slam a column of oreos, it heightens my awareness and I'm eating smart the rest of the day.

I didn't go with a column but 3 or 4 after dinner smothered in Nutella was enough..it's weird, I'm usually obsessed with eating a healthy low fat diet...this year I've been less concerned and I'm dropping weight easily..go figure.

I have gotten leaner since I have stopped caring so much about diet, especially fat consumption.

I like this forum's obsession with Oreos. Kindred spirits

Just brought dinner to the girlfriend at work. She's working the 3:30-10pm shift.

She calls me up: "hey I'm starving can you bring something over?"
me: "you work in a deli"

But I'm a sucker and brought her dinner anyway. Better get some tonight is all I can say.

Just ate a ton of "monster" trail mix. Peanuts, raisins, M&Ms, and choco chips. Wow. It is incredible. I could gain significant weight eating this alone.

Whatever works

I'm sitting pretty at 174 right now (at 6'4"). Maintainable, but light enough for most TX racing. Chipotle last night. Damned good.

New container of whey today. Better tasting. Easier to mix. 20grams per serving.

I love like burgers and asparagus. Throw some blue cheese sauce on them for some extra flavor.

Maybe Im simple, but it was ketchup for me. And we had sweet potato fries as well. And sadly I couldnt eat a full row of the double-stuffs, I got about 6 or 7 down my neck and was stuffed.

everything was cooked on our grill. ftw.

How old are you? I'm 41 and just lost 2#'s without trying.. Sometimes if you try too hard it doesn't come off.

BTW -- just ate two soft boiled eggs. Yummy.

There. Fixed it.

I didn't realize you were that old. Mid-thirties I would have guessed.

IF you eat chipotle, you'll immediately be @ 177.
