I still remember the first time I went to Bo Jangles when I moved to NC. It wasn't until I was much older before I could get used to spicy fried chicken. Now I miss it because I have an eating disorder.

I remember being disappointed with bojangles when I lived in NC. It's not the chicken for me; it's the biscuits. Then again, Biscuitville was far worse.

Now I've got the Flying Biscuit (Atlanta) on the brain. mmmmm

We have one of the few decent Mexican joints in Austin right near our house, real hard core interior food. Tonight I had rosted mango over spinach, tomatos, cactus and sunflower seed with a ight vinagerette dressing. It was amazing.

Went out to dinner tonight. Ordered a 7oz filet, steamed broccoli, and a baked potato. "Do you want butter and sour cream?" Nope, plain please. My wife said "You know, a little butter won't kill you."

When we got home, my order from Amazon had arrived: "Racing Weight: How to Get Lean for Peak Performance."

My wife thinks I have an eating disorder.

Uggh. I'm up 10 lbs since before Christmas. My belt still fits the same, so I dunno where the weight is.

6' 185. I'm fat. This stupid one big meal/day schedule is killing me, but I can't do much about it without spending money.

What do you think is on that filet? Most likely tons of butter. You definitely had your share of butter and fats for that meal.

Last night I binge ate on cereal, salty almonds, and PB&J sandwiches.

I are 6' and 190. I'll race you to 170! I need some sort of motivation to quit munching on the kids snacks. Weekends and eating out are killing me. My willpower for food sucks.

6'4" at 185-190. I only weigh myself once a week on Sunday nights. I'm fattest between my ears.

Since my wife has been away I have re-discovered my love for peanut butter sandwiches with preserves. Our local coop has make you own peanut butter and fresh local preserves. Damn that's good...

Yum. The chili kicks in right near the end of the bar. I think I'm going to make some habanero chocolate chip cookies. In other news: just under 174 this morning after Chipotle last night (my burrito plus kids leftovers).

Good milk chocolate is nice, but I could eat a brick of dark chocolate. Adding the pepper makes it that much better.

I figured out why Whole Foods is always packed.

You have to shop every 3 days because apparently they haven't mastered pasteurization or preservation yet.

I bought some milk and some bread last Saturday because I was already in the shopping center at the LBS. The milk lasted about 4 days before going completely sour. The bread is already starting to get moldy (I'm still eating it, just tearing off the little spots of mold).

I'm upset, but not upset enough to go get my money back (even though it was expensive milk).

There was a really funny episode of The Simpsons about that this year. The food started decomposing on the conveyor belt at checkout.

That tends to happen when bread is not stuffed full of artificial preservatives.

The milk and bread we get from Food Hole lasts all week. They're both locally produced, which may be the difference.
