Avocado and sushi grade salmon done as sashimi would be awesome. Especially with a bit of warm saki.

I'd save the spinach for something else.

I have been slow cooking some rump roast with a packet of "Italian" salad dressing spices and some beef stock all day to make a Chicago delicacy: Italian beef. I also bought some fresh 'hard" rolls and a yellow onion and a couple of bell peppers to saute to add on.

It isn't as good as the real thing from my youth, but it will do.

The sashimi sounds amazing. Haven't had saki, so I can't comment there. Should get around to trying it.

I had a strawberry cupcake for breakfast. Lunch wasn't much better.

Sushi or sashimi would really hit the spot right now.

Senior year in Florida for our winter training trip we went to a sushi place about a block from our hotel, the fairly hot Japanese waitress/part owner of the place was trying, very insistently, to get us to do saki bombs with her, and said something about a party later. Sadly, we had to decide it wasn't worth the torture the next morning in the pool would be or getting sent home and having to deal with our extremely pissed off coach. Most entertaining part of this is someone noticed her ring vanishing midway through us eating. To add relevance, it was slightly chilly at that time and we were eating outside.

I miss good clams. Last time I had great clams was in Maine, many, many years ago.
I remember as a kid digging for them and having a clam bake one day. Faint memory but as I recall it was my first taste of clams and I fell in love with them.
Then I came to NC and all they had were fried clam necks. Battered rubber bands more like it. Awful.

Went out last night...ate a lot - twizzlers, popcorn, cookies, burger from Chilli's, etc.

Breakfast this morning:
Hazlenut coffee black
2 slices of whole wheat toast w/ nuttella
5 strawberries
over ripe banana (I love green bananas, but once they get even a tad of brown they are disgusting)

Lunch:
Made a wrap w/ a toasted whole wheat wrap w/ garlic, olive oil, and salt. Put some turkey and cheddar on it and toasted it some more. Topped with fresh spinach.

I had some leftover greek salad from a local pizza joint on the side. Feeling surprisingly full.

Woke up last night and polished off like 1200 calories of trail mix. Luckily it was the bottom of the bag, or it could have gone worse.

woke up again this morning at 170.8lbs, but figure the salt will add 1-2 today. still well within my range of skinniest ever. Discovered a few days ago my friend and near equal (he's slightly stronger, still) is down to 164lbs at my height 6'3", so competitive manorexia is in full force.

This morning I had a protein shake with rice-milk and coffee mixed in (300 calories). Am about to snack on a banana and play some basketball on the lunch hour. At this weight every single day without compromising the calories is a rewarding victory.

Trail mix is pure evil. I can't have it in the house or I end up eating 1000+ calories worth of it.

Stomach feels like it's getting a little better. Down to 161 lbs this morning. Had a little baked chicken and mashed potato for lunch. Completely delightful compared to what I've been eating the last week!
