150 micrograms per milliliter in your urine. You would need to know how much you are taking, it's half life, and it's excretion levels. (from my wife who is in the Texas Tech Masters Program for NP)
8.4 EXCRETION
8.4.1 KIDNEY
A) 55% to 75% is excreted unchanged in the urine (USPDI, 1999). Up to 88% of a dose is excreted unchanged in the urine after 36 hours (Bye et al, 1974).
B) Renal excretion is accelerated with acidic urine (USPDI, 1999).
8.5 ELIMINATION HALF-LIFE
8.5.1 PARENT COMPOUND
A) GENERAL
1) 1.9 to 21 hours (urine pH dependent). The half-life was 50 hours in a patient with renal tubular acidosis and persistent alkaline urine (Brater et al, 1980).

Given the wide availability of PSE-containing medicines, WADA recommends that the
reintroduction of PSE be supported by an active information/education campaign by all
stakeholders.
In this regard, WADA recommends that the following information be communicated, as soon
as possible, to Athletes and their support personnel:
-The established threshold levels may be reached (rarely, but possibly) by some
individuals within 6-20 hours of intake of some long-lasting therapeutic formulations.
-Advise athletes to stop taking PSE pills at least 24 hours before competition.
For therapeutic applications during the In-Competition period, consider the use of
alternative permitted medications upon previous consultation with a physician, or
apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) for the use of PSE for therapeutic
purpose(s).
- The threshold level has been established based on the intake of therapeutic doses of
PSE, defined as a maximum daily dose of 240mg PSE taken either as:
i) four (4) daily administrations (one every 4-6 hours) of a 60mg pill
(or 2 x 30mg pills), or
ii) two (2) daily administrations (one every 12 hours) of a 120mg pill
(extended release), or
iii) one (1) daily administration of a 240mg pill (extended release).
-In line with this dosing regimen, the intake, for example, of a single daily dose of 3 x
60mg pills constitutes a supratherapeutic administration that may lead to an Adverse
Analytical Finding.

1974, 1980, 1999... WADA is slightly more up to date as found in the link Ex provided.

me too, like bullets to buckets depending on the day. I looked this up last year and I thought I remembered reading that Glycerol is in whole fruit. Make a point to eat up some oranges and such on a regular basis.

Cat1 sure, we're talking about someone who is attempting to make this a career. But a cat3 with a full time job? If a cat3's up to it, why not cat4's too?

Glycerol? Really? That's harsh.

Banning alcohol in cycling would be totally bollocks. Just imagine, every year the Yellow Jersey holder would have to be busted on the Champs Elysees after he was filmed having a glass of bubbly on the road.

There's a lot of stuff on there that I don't know what it is. But I assume I would know if I was taking something on the list. Certainly a long list though, but most of them are obvious things like steroids and stuff.
Alcohol is prohibited from shooting for the same reason Beta Blockers are prohibited for shooting/archery/curling, etc. Anything that lowers your HR helps you shoot better.

Incidentally, since we're talking PED's, has anyone seen what's happening in boxing right now between Pacquiao and Mayweather? Mayweather wants to have WADA drug testing and Pacquiao says he's scared of needles. The biggest fight in a long time is being scuttled over drug testing. I dug around for the normal boxing drug test protocol, and EPO wasn't even listed. Pretty amazing.

Yup. Not kidding. Probably not to win the local 45 minute criterium, but district championships, stage races, nationals .....

there are more, but I'm bored of looking. A buddy of mine got bumped from 4th to bronze in the the world masters match sprint two years ago because third place failed a test.

Word on the street is that this is nothing more than head games from the Mayweather camp...he's not quite as confident about beating Manny as he has been about beating his other opponents...each of these guys are going to make north of 50mil....this fight will happen in March.
Yesterday afternoon Pacquiao announced plans to fight Yuri Foreman at 154# and he and his promoter filed a defamation suit against Mayweather and his promoter. It might all be a bluff, but if so, they're going a long way for a bluff.

Maybe you're right, but why would drug testing be a head game if one were clean? If drug testing were part of a $50M payday for me, I'd have no problem with it, that's for damn sure!

Going to Road and Track Nats this year I've had to actually look at the list of stuff that's banned. It's a big list with a lot of WTF? items.
I'm referring to sudafed to help treat your runny nose and blocked up ears.
