You must be one boring ********** on a date.
Her: So what did you do today?
FB: Well, I got a stick, and I shook it at all the asses I saw. Then I added them all up and wrote it down.
Her: Oh my, I just got a text my aunt died. I need to leave. Don't get up.
FB: I'll call you.
Her: I'll be in Botswana.
FB: Email?
Her: Southern Botswana. No internet.

Got a care package in the mail - RAD.
Think my tubular fix is going to hold - RAD.
Might get to race again this weekend (unless this team presentation/report messes things up) - Eh
Getting to race with some really cool teammates for the next two months - Real Rad
After those two months, TRACK

who's racing grant's tomb this weekend?
is it even snowing down by you? so far it's just rain up here. i'm not complaining. have 3 exams this week so the extra day to study is much appreciated.

as for GT, i'm staying put in town as a) i got sick and lost some form b) the drive is too long c) i could use the time spent on traveling to finish more of my thesis. Two people on my team are racing A's. One of them should probably be racing B's right now and the other just had to deal with taking step I of the board. You want to look for the move of the day? there's that Swarthmore guy (Carpenter). Hop on his wheel and draft him the entire race and hope that you don't get dropped.
Right now i'm just taking care of my equipment (truing wheels, cleaning stuff, applying epoxy to my frame that lost a bit of paint, etc), then ride on my rollers and do more thesis work.
Good luck racing if you are headed up!
btw, the ACCC is gotta be the most unorganized conference. I had to contact the director to learn that the GW race was cancelled. I was hoping to use that as a good training race... And the registration for the UNC and Navy races (or at least the road race) is no where to be found...
Good luck with the exams!

It's a great little bike. A couple of his friends recently got a Fuji kids road bike but it had funky twist shifters on drops, like the GMC Denali bike. And 24" wheels, which limits tire choices. The REI bike has brifters and 26" wheels so it's a bit more versatile, especially since Lucas has expressed an interest in racing CX next fall. How that will work with his first love (soccer), we shall see.
