Me too. You don't want me on your Trivial Pursuit team. The last 2 pages of this thread are all Greek to me.

OK, I dont know who Macklemore is, or who would be an "established culturally relevant hip hop artist" but many deserve criticism. glorification of the "gangsta" lifestyle, misogynistic lyrics, and dropping N-words and F-bombs every 4th word is wrong, regardless of the color of the person whose mouth it came from.

Not a chance. Can't stand Motown or oldies in general.
Someone has stolen my identity but so far my credit check service has caught all of their accounts. (that I know of).
Corporate radio sucks and that "Get Lucky" thing makes me want to hurl.

Well, here's how white his fan base is, I guess... Tiny Desk Concert at NPR. I'll admit that he's my favorite artist of the last year, even if his music isn't my thing. I really respect him, as goofy and overplayed as he is. Here are his three best songs so far, performed in an office cubicle at NPR:

I wear leather Soled everything.
I like J&Ms, have a couple pair of Calvin Kleins that have lasted well but I think my favorite are Florsheim Imperials (https://www.florsheim.com/shop/styles...ial/page0.html)
Amazingly comfortable.
All my golf shoes are leather soled as well but waaaaaaaaaay pricier than anything else (including my dress shoes) - wish they didn't have spikes as they are like wearing broken in sneakers.

I really want some monkstrap shoes and chukkas at some point too. I'll add those in the fall probably. Right now, I just wear Timberland boots to work and change into shoes there if it's raining or snowing. I try leaving a pair of black and brown shoes at work so I don't have to carry them around. I also have sneakers here for the OR.

another problem is that in demonizing rap/hip hop/african american culture at large, he also demonizes many non-misogynistic, thoughtful "mainstrem" rap and hip hop artists who write thoughtful lyrics that aren't about glorifiying a gangster lifestyle.
case in point: Kendrick Lamar. he grew up poor in the ghetto, surrounded by drugs, violence and family drama. But his lyrics, dark as though they may be, are about truth, honor, respect and ascension from a destructive culture. In this song he raps about the problems he has with the state of rap music in general.
careful, there's a couple cuss words.
I am a sinner, who is probably gonna sin again
Lord forgive me, Lord forgive me,
For things I don't understand.
Sometimes I need to be alone.
***** don't kill my vibe.
***** don't kill my vibe.

Regarding the passwords: I used to use the same password, or a variant, everywhere until I realized just how much I was leaving open. I started digging into my past and quickly realized the online trail I've left. To help me clean that up, I've switched to Last Pass, and actually pay for the annual service ($12/yr) so I can get it on my iPhone too. It generates, stores and protects complex passwords and I have access to them from the cloud. Although it seemed like a bit of a learning curve at first, I'm very happy so far with everything they offer.
