yep...whey and soy both make my wife turn green. The hemp hasnt done that, so I'll deal with the taste. Ive been mixing it with my rice milk; I might try mixing it with choc rice milk.

As my office is on the 10th floor there was enough time for me to go into full on anxiety attack. Door opened in lobby and I ran like a fat kid for cake...

Dude I accidentally farted one time on my way onto the elevator (apparently the cutter wasn't working so well that day) on a 300+ gram protein day. The door closed and it was like pea soup in the elevator. If the elevator had stopped and someone got on it would have been like someone punched them in the face with a boxing glove made of poop, rotten broccoli and ass, they would have then passed out on the floor. I literally broke into a panic induced sweat...

Good to hear everything is OK. My mother's house in CT was destroyed. My brother and I are handling the sale of the distressed property and helping her look for a replacement home.

My trusty old (10+years) nike heart rate monitor watch died today. I tried a new battery with no luck so I guess I'm in the market for a new HRM...
Any suggestions? I was thinking a garmin forunner or maybe polar? Don't want to spend more than $200, less is best.

It does work though... just stupid horrible interface to start, stop, configure, and sync. I've spent a total of about 3 hours trying to get it to sync with the computer in the two years we've had it. Probably another 3 hours trying to get it backed out of some mode without losing a 2 hour run stored on it.
Sometimes I think it might end up getting "lost"...
PM me if you want me to tell you how I really feel.

Good to know, I've generally seen good reviews. It also looked appealing because of the ability to easily switch between run/ride. I'm not very tech savvy, so I might reconsider if it's that frustrating.
The polar cs600x looks like an excellent package but it's a bit above my price point (looks like $260ish shipped).
Time to scour ebay I guess.

Give a Garmin a try and see if the new models are easier to work with. The 405 blows though.

Sometimes my stories actually make me burst out laughing. As funny as this one is not it was not funny at the time. So here is another gas related story.
As we all know I train really heavy in the gym. At a former gym there are two leg press sleds. I am on one and have 16 - 45 pound plates loaded on each side and beside me are two super hot fitness chicks. Impressed with all the weight on the sled, as well as my dashing good looks, they are smiling and flirting with me as I get ready for my set. I strap up my knees (pulling my shorts up quite high to reveal my sexy legs), lock in my belt and lay on the machine. By now they are just standing there watching, smiling and giggling. I pushed off and on the first rep down I farted, not a regular ole toot but every single ****ing ounce of air that was in my body since I was 16, sounded like a foghorn going off in the gym (obviously the weight just pushed it out more). Mortified I could even look over but did to see them laughing hysterically (as did I). Then reality set in...

I'm working my way back up on leg press tapped out at 13 plates a side last time (at a weight of 226) but did fire out a hack squat last week of 8 plates a side for 5 reps and 325 pound extensions. I'm fortunate that I have a lot of strength which has allowed me to be competitive on the bike as a larger guy.

24-36" forecast between Fri morning and Sat afternoon, 50 mph winds Saturday, and I promised to baby sit my nephews (and look after my dad) Fri PM to Sat PM. And my back is basically out. Ugh.
