I figured the 'order they were received' bit. I hope that since I'm on the list I'll get it sometime this summer.
How did you look/check availability? Assume you need a log in?

if i tape my ears to my skull, how many watts would I save?

RChung method revealed it to be statistically insignificant for me.

Following Doge's (and Doge Jr's) recommendation:

I reckon that's just what I need to start winning races.

I work at an LBS and we have an account with QBP so I can access that info. Having written that, I'm off until the week after next, so I can't check until then.

@ <15mph .01, @25mph .14, @30mph almost .75W. It varies a bit based on ears size and if the tape is smooth. One of those rubber caps may be better. Swim cap perhaps.

If you have cauliflower ear does that make your head lenticular?

Anyone know how that works? Are they guaranteed to get it? Is there a priority system or something? (This is a very very small shop)

SideNote: Anyone know how often SRAM is replenishing stock?

i'm not seeing *any* ETA. there is a note that says any orders received after 3/9 will not ship until may.

My order was definitely after 3/9. I've seen a few sites list it as 'available 4/29 or 4/30', so I'm hopeful my order will be filled around then too.

put a mirror on your front brake boss and then you can ride with your head down the entire time.

From here.

that thing would save a minute on a 40k TT. if it's not banned yet it should be.

spectastic 04-07-16 07:46 PM

tunnel vision much?

spectastic 04-07-16 07:50 PM

what about a pair of virtual reality goggles paired up with a super aero action cam via bluetooth, with a robotic arm being controlled by a mini toggle stick right next to the shift lever? totally worth it.

Doge 04-07-16 09:36 PM

BTW - for the others that PM'd me about a mirror - Sprintech is the one you want. I expect others are good, but some are not.

I like the idea of creating more range of visibility on the bike without turning ones head or looking under the arm notwithstanding that both of those techniques work. I do not like an addition to the end of the handlebar that comes to a point with glass on one side. It strikes me it is only a matter of time until a racer suffers a serious injury.

Anyone here using a Pioneer power meter? I'm curious as to what would happen if the right side were separated from the left - ie on two different bikes. I know the left can work alone.

Also, what makes the left side only better than Stages? Other than you know, not taking on water or dying every 5 minutes.

globecanvas 04-13-16 06:08 AM

I think Ygduf has a Pioneer power meter, but he'll be busy for the next 18 years so he may not be able to chime in for a while.

I was unable to find any first hand reviews of the left side only version which is why I went with stages.

How easy is it to convert a mechanical only frame to Di2? May finally go tron on the road bike as well

Current bike has internal routing, and i think the downtube cable entry area is wide enough to fit the wire through. I guess the hardest part would be to somehow drill a hole somewhere to connect FD to the junction box?
