JL Velo makes a small long that will fit an Andy Scheck kinda build.

I'm no Andy Schlek, I just like a tighter jersey to avoid the zipper bunching up.

zipperdick is the worst, that's how capo always fit me. Now that we have switched to cuore it's like I went from Target brand to Gucci.

I never used chamois creme until I got a thing that caused a bump which caused a friction sore which hurt a lot. now I use chamois creme for the longer rides as a preventative.

Also, it's nice to pull bibs off after a few hours and suddenly smell mint oreos instead of sweat.

And my ass is not steel. It's more like the consistency of flan. Don't let your kids grow up fat, guys.

Well, I hate to admit it but it looks like a trip to the shop is in order.
1) spokes. Wheels have gone out of true a couple times, and I straightened them up but spoke tension varies quite a bit.
2) derailleur. Maybe I need a new one, but I can't get shifting working perfectly. In addition, the derailleur sometimes moves forward and lets slack in the chain. I don't understand whats happening.
3) chain/cleaning. I can't clean very well in a studio apartment and it'd be nice to have a clean drivetrain for once.
4) Idk what's up with the BB, but it feels like there is too much resistance/noise when I spin the cranks.

I should also get some new tires as well, it's been a long time.

In other news, I'm quitting coaching gymnastics. It's too much on top of a full time job and riding. I'm sad to let it go. Already teared up once after telling a couple of the kids :'(

I'm pretty sure that if you're having spoke tension problems, and re-tensioning doesn't work, it's the rims that are the problem, not the spokes.

It was a Beautiful Day as Bono saw it, and he decided to take a stroll on his bike amongst the Shadow of Tall Trees in the largest urban oasis in the City of Blinding Lights.

Wanting to unleash his Desire to Ride His Wild Horse on two wheels, Bono cruised at the Speed of Life through the meandering hills of the park. Unfortunately, his Pride and trust his bike handling abilities led to his downfall as he crashed. No Angel of Harlem was present to save him from his injuries, nor did God Send His Angels to warn him of his fate.

It is not confirmed if running of a Red Light was the cause of the accident. But to those at the NY Post, this was perhaps Instant Karma as Bono was earlier seen salmoning up a Street Having no easily identifiable Name.

Certainly for Bono, Some Days Are Better Than Others

In 9 years of cycling, I have yet to have a spoke issue. I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

Thats too bad, in the end helping kids is probably more important than cycling. I can't stand being in the room for more than 5 minutes with the things, but I admire those that can.

Rims coyld be the issue, but otoh I'm the opposite of experienced with wheel truing haha. I just flip the bike, tighten the brakes until it rubs, adjust the 5 or so spokes closest, and repeat until it's straight. So that leaves lots of room for unbalanced tension. I'll see what someone who really knows what they are doing says.

I love kids. Don't want the responsibility of having my own, but kids and I get along pretty well.

The spoke issue happened after a crash, I straightened it and it looked alright, but had to do it again a couple months later. So could be bent I guess, or I just don't know what I'm doing. Figure I should get this "straightened out" before race season.

I might spend a little more time on slowtwitch as there is much to learn. I am learning that there is an advantage to taking off water bottle cages and running without cages and bottle for crits. #whowouldaknown
