My dad texted me the crybaby hill heart attack story saying it was from my race. Is it wrong that I was offended and had to verify he was wrong, it was a cat 5 racer who had a heart attack?

A high school kid who works at Depot on weekends has 7 NY state champ jerseys. I told you the story of how he got one, when your former 12-14 yo teammate yelled "**** yeah!" crossing the line and got DQ'd.

I remember you saying that, it's funny but I didn't even know that guy until I saw him win a couple of sprints this year. I guess they're less harsh about cursing when you're in the elite fields, because I'm pretty sure he yelled out some choice words during both wins.

Did the BD guy ride with us a few weeks ago? I remember Curtis White pulled the same stuff coming up through the jrs, and he's 7 angry hammers full o' watts and rides for Optium.

No, all his jerseys are road/crit/TT but this year he's deeply involved in the new HS MTB league.

I just spent a couple hours chatting with Frankie A who had the misfortune to be sitting next to me on the plane. He was in Tulsa to announce races and be the "ride with a famous guy" on the gran fondo.

He hasn't shaved his legs for 7 years, is amazed at how stupidly most amateurs train, and won't be going to the Tour this year for the first time in 25 years.

"Ride your bike a couple hours a day, go hard some days, keep it fun." Quoted without comment.

He was totally open and chatty. He brought up Lance, even.

It looks like we have a lurker in the training status thread.

I'm up to 2 hours per week. My legs feel dead. Over training ?

I have a harder time imagining conversations where they don't work Lance into it.

yeah I'm totally stoked. after being prepared to flip them and buy a trainer or some other more expensive roller with a mag this was a simple solution. I could probably add another one on another roller and really make it hard.

I've been at a conference, and it's amazing how much food they serve, including salmon for lunch today. Wonder if conferences would be any cheaper if they didn't splurge so much. My admission was paid by someone else so I don't care too much, but I may be on my own next year (fortunately it'll be in Boston so no hotel and airfare to worry about)

Call it tacky, living abroad i love these jerseys. So if you ever get tired of it pass it down. I actually want the SF one to show my USA pride =)

1. sorry didnt mean to post in the RACING forum.
2. I purposely did not mention the website and forum for this reason.
3. I rest my case. Im out.

Welcome to the the road racing forum.

Sucking suckdom so far this morning. Southwest cancelled my flight and the next option to get to PVD would have me in at 11:55pm when I was supposed to arrive 12:30pm. So I run to the airport and manage to get on a flight to Boston right as its boarding. Not bad consider I live closer to Boston but my car is in pvd so my dad has to get me and take me back to pvd for the car. But I'll land at 11:20am so much more reasonable

I talked to him a bit on the elevator in the hotel. He lives in Dearborn Mi which isn't too far from me. Seems like a nice guy. Saw him in the hotel lobby the other night with a bike one of the shops was lending him for the fondo

Since the magnets I ordered came with two strips, and I have 1x2 left over, I'm going to try putting one against the rear roller to see what happens. The answer may be obvious to someone, but not me
