I wouldn't use silicone..........It comes off pretty easy. I'd get some double side emblem tape from an auto body shop or maybe even just emblem adhesive. Every shop I've worked in also had a huge supply of rivets in just about every size. Lots of tiny ones made of aluminium that would work and look pretty good too.........Might be worth a trip.
