I was just saying that changing the FAQ to say that MTB'ers should buy a bike based on seat tube length doesn't fit everyone's needs. I used to buy based on seat tube length, but now I'm on the ETT thing.

I think both work...it just depends on the type of rider and what they're looking for, I guess. Maybe the less experienced people who really don't know what they want can be blanketed by seat tube size...I dunno. I do know that my '05 Komodo is an 18.5" and has a 23.5" TT and my '98 Komodo is a 19" and has a 22.5" TT. The smaller seat tube'd '05 feels less cramped and more comfy than the '98. I actually have to run a 40mm longer stem on the '98 to get it to feel somewhat right. (odd)

So...no, I'm not busting anyone's sack. Just saying that there are more things to consider.

I guess you can always adjust your stem length/height, bar width/height, and seatpost length, and saddle position to suit your fit.
